The Bruery Barrel Aged Brew And Food Review

There’s beer and there’s BEER; a rich, deep, complex blend of malty, sweet, creamy, sour flavors that make the difference between an everyday after work beverage and a celebratory nectar of the gods where the passion of the maker really shows through. Bourbon Barrel aged beers are traditionally rich in color and flavor, sweet and malty with pronounced overtones of the whisky barrels the beer was aged in.

Check out our review of these two beers from a premiere West Coast brewer appropriately named The Bruery in Orange County, California. We spoke with the owner of host location Mellow Fellow (Ryan) about these unique beverages and paired the beer with a special Mexican inspired pork sandwich and root veggies made by Chopped winner Clint Jolly.
